Reserve California Pinot Noir 2022

not too dry and not too sweet - smelled like red fruits, in a deep red color
light tannins, minimal oakiness, not too acidic, very fruit forward (red fruits - strawberry, raspberry)
huge fan! red fruity notes + very smooth finish

Cuvée Angeline Millésime Brut 1er Cru Champagne Blend 2012

It’s Lassalle—2 S. Ever since a 96 Angeline stunned me a few years ago, I’ve followed this house, even visited the female-run Champagne house. Great wines up and down the range but this is my favorite. 08 is also quite good. This is my first 12—lovely wine that is also a great value for upper end champagne. Needs a few years but already very refined and integrated, orange and lemon zest, gentle mousse, some minerality. Nice stuff. — 9 months ago

Cachet Or Brut 1er Cru Champagne Blend

For the price it’s fabulous. Paid $23. Entry level Lassalle. Won’t make me think Cuvée Angeline but it’s good! — a year ago

Cuvée Angéline Brut 1er Cru Champagne Blend 2008

fortunately recently found a small supply for $55/b, less than release price, and it’s even more delicious due to that price. Just scrumptious crunchy bright yellow orchard fruit and citrus, not at all oxidative or yeasty, just lovely, fresh, and delicious. This is real bright and fresh. The 2011 wasn’t at this level, 96 was/is stupendous, and I’m hooked. I don’t know who Angeline is but I love her very much. — 2 years ago
