It’s Lassalle—2 S. Ever since a 96 Angeline stunned me a few years ago, I’ve followed this house, even visited the female-run Champagne house. Great wines up and down the range but this is my favorite. 08 is also quite good. This is my first 12—lovely wine that is also a great value for upper end champagne. Needs a few years but already very refined and integrated, orange and lemon zest, gentle mousse, some minerality. Nice stuff. — 8 months ago

Very good! — 3 months ago
Medium-deep ruby color.
Aromas of cassis, vanilla, soft oak spice.
Off-dry. Flavors of cassis, vanilla, soft licorice. Medium-rich, velvety tannins. Oak is subtle, allowing the grapes to shine.

not too dry and not too sweet - smelled like red fruits, in a deep red color
light tannins, minimal oakiness, not too acidic, very fruit forward (red fruits - strawberry, raspberry)
huge fan! red fruity notes + very smooth finish — a month ago
