This is the Ode to Lulu Mourvèdre Rose (back label says that it’s “ancient vines” grown on sand, so maybe mostly CCC fruit?). The color so pale as to almost resemble a skin contact “orange” white wine. Nose is all fruit. Nectarine, strawberry, an orange-zest thing too. Dry and so gulpable. Dangerous on a warm and humid afternoon! — 5 days ago
71st birthday. The last bottle of Carignane… — a month ago
I have a cold, but it has a strong, yet enjoyable flavor. I like how dark of a wine it is. — 3 months ago
Definitely buy again — 4 months ago
I liked the uncharacteristic subtle sweetness from plum and dark fruits. Add a touch of leather and vanilla, soft tannins, and this one was smooth. Good stuff! — 5 months ago
Nice easy Malbec. Had with Sarah with pizza — 6 months ago
Love this one. A little sweet and not dry but really easy to drink. One of my fav reds so far — 5 days ago
A gift from Fiona to celebrate Ted. — 2 months ago
Even at 13 years this is yet as powerful and robust as in its first years.
Loads of blackfruit and chocolate in the nose and some hints of tar.
In the mouth silky, long and a nice acidity to balance. It benefits btw from decanting as it is way better on day 2. — 4 months ago
Beautiful zin with full, silky body. Black and red fruits, plum, and fingers with smooth tannins. Great wine. — 4 months ago
Wow, so big, so fruity, a bit sugary. It’s old school cool, like a true OG CA Zinfandel. — 6 months ago

Haven’t had for awhile. So brilliant. Fresh crushed berries, plums, forest, greenery, just on the nose. Palate is similar with some dried rose mixed in. Fresh plums, cherries, so tart, jolly rancher but not quite love this wine. — 9 days ago
