Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2018

Really coming along-two years ago it was closed & tight. Nose is more complex & finish is more nuanced. Very nice. — 4 months ago

Adobe Guadalupe

Jardín de Tru Edición Limitada Red Blend 2019

This is the “Jardin de Tru” comprised of 44% Malbec, 22% Merlot, and 24% Syrah. Juicy dark red fruits, green peppercorns, and dry vegetation.

Nice balance given the 11.9% abv. Not overly green. First Mexican wine I’ve had and while it’s expensive for what it is ($36) I look forward to watching this producer and region.

Bavarian Lion Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2014

It's time for my #FridayCabernetfix. Here is a delicious one from Knights Valley.

Pretty color of dark ruby with a brick rim.

Beautiful nose of black currants, cooked cherries, black plums, figs, raisins, vanilla, cedar, cola, Indian spices, earth, chocolates, black pepper, pencil lead, turmeric, cumin and tobacco.

Medium plus in body and elegant, with medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, dried figs, cedar, vanilla, leather, spices, earth, chocolates, tobacco, light herbs, cola, turmeric, graphite, dark coffee and peppercorn.

Long finish with fine grained tannins, spices and cherries.

This is a wonderful Cabernet Sauvignon from Sonoma County. Showing great complexity and a nice mouthfeel. Nicely balanced with a long, smooth finish.

Good right out of the bottle, but so much better after 3 hours of airtime, when the complexity shows up. Worth the wait.

Loved the nose, and kept smelling on it for a while. Tastes very much like a Napa Cabernet.

This Single Vineyard from the great 2014 vintage is rich, yet elegant. Fruit forward, deep and smooth. Tasty and delicious. Alcohol is nicely integrated by now.

Thank you David for sharing this with me.

A great sipping wine that doesn't need food at all. Will continue to age nicely in the next 7 to 10 years.

Aged for 30 months in 90% new French oak barrels.

15.4% alcohol by volume.

94 points.

$88.

Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese 2013

Coloração clara e adobe, poucas lágrimas. Aroma de couro, terra, passas, com o álcool ainda destacado. Taninos macios e acidez bem equilibrada. Rastro bom. — 7 months ago

Famighetti Vineyard Viognier 2019

It's a beautiful, golden wine, which smells abundantly of flowers and citrus, with a smattering of apricot thrown into the nose. It's the apricot that comes on strongest on the palate, with a strong helping hand from the lemon, lime and orange notes. The taste is fairly sweet and creamy, although the acidity is lively. This wine will pair well with salads of all sorts - especially savory ones - and light chicken or fish dishes. — 4 years ago

Château Ferrande

Graves Red Bordeaux Blend 2013

— 3 years ago

Shift Mendocino Zinfandel Blend 2019

The wine certainly tastes special, with pure fruit expressions of blueberry, currant and plums on the nose and palate. There is a sense of white pepper and sweet oak, but just a touch - they let the fruit do the talking here. Tannins are gentle, but firm, and the finish takes a long time to wave the checkered flag. — 4 years ago
