The wine certainly tastes special, with pure fruit expressions of blueberry, currant and plums on the nose and palate. There is a sense of white pepper and sweet oak, but just a touch - they let the fruit do the talking here. Tannins are gentle, but firm, and the finish takes a long time to wave the checkered flag.
