Pinot grigio. Abnormal bottle, but a pleasant and smooth taste. Salmon and mussels. — 10 years ago
Super different. Blueberry just exploded on the palette. But it’s not too much. Great cab for a cab it does taste abnormal. But very nice! — 6 years ago
Not your mother's Merlot unless she is edgy and cantankerous. Subdued fruit with tannin keeping its grip. Should integrate and soften, but prefer the abnormal slide back — 9 years ago
Abnormally dark but nothing abnormal about the aroma. Complete, composed and uniform. The acid and phenolic structure is perfectly balanced, only the mineral structure is slightly simple and loose. — 6 years ago
Pure silk and juicy, the 2009s are so easy to enjoy now. The sunshine from the vintage is there in the glass for sure. An abnormal, hedonistic vintage, this is very enjoyable for what Burgundy is usually not. It's a nice change once in a while to go this route when it's not overdone. Harmony in the glass exudes red berries, earth, and plum. This is an exceptionally pure, deep, fresh and smooth as silk #gevreychambertin from #roty — 10 years ago
