Of the 2020 releases from Marc Delienne (which has been quite the trip to work through), this was the cheapest, cleanest, and my favourite. Needs a little air to unfurl aromas of pomegranate, raspberry, and tomato leaves. Bright and juicy, with a rich texture to boot. Nice underlying minerality and spice. Finished in one seating, so a one in the binary scale. — 2 years ago
American geography ignoramus that I am, little did I know that the Northernmost tip of the Rhone- Cote Rotie- is the kissing cousin of Beaujolais. St. Amour is more midpoint, but has that great granite terroir which makes this long standing Cru Bojo (& under 20$) a perennial fave. It’s that mineral tautness I love. — 3 years ago
The 2013 Brut Rosé Millésimé Amour de Deutz shows a bit more seriousness than the last time I tasted it, about two years ago. It remains a gracious, lifted Rosé, but time has amplified the mineral edge such that the 2013 today is quite nervy and brilliant, with little, if any, loss of freshness. Cranberry, mint, orange peel, white flowers and crushed rocks all race through to the intensely saline, sculpted finish. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Yes, these guys do Beaujolais in a Bordeaux bottle.
Great nose features ripe cherry and berries, along with a rich, humus-like earthy note and scents of old barrels. Fruity but fairly structured in the mouth. Significant tannin frames the sultry, oozy fruit. Initially, it’s a little austere in the finish (a la the region whose bottle shape is used), but more fruit comes through as it gets air. Unique and very good. — 2 years ago
The wine I have opened tonight is the 2019 Division "Un" Pinot Noir.
The nos has notes of cranberry, strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, clove, forest floor and earth.
On the palate I am getting notes of cherry, strawberry, cranberry, clove, cinnamon, spice, light oak and earthy undertones.
This wine is medium bodied with medium acidity and medium to medium + fine tannins that moves into a medium to medium + ftesh fruit finish. We are on the precipice of another weekend so please stay safe and healthy but enjoy the weekend. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷🍷 — 3 years ago
I know so little about this variety called nielluccio, first time with the producer and also too i'm a first timer with Corsica wines..
Though this is good, light and easy, not pretentious, but a great mate for a boat sailing day
No tannin, light color, nearly rose like and lots of fun — a year ago
Cola and cherry followed by hints of graphite. Light tannins with a plum finish. — 3 years ago
— 3 years ago
