Santa Barbara County Chardonnay 2022

Wow this is a great example of Santa Barbara Chardonnay. Some wood in the nose next to moderate tones of tropical fruit. In the mouth it has a slight salty tone. Paired beautifully with 60 months old Parmezan cheese. — 16 days ago

So insane! Killer value. Dead ringer for a high end northern Rhone. — 24 days ago

'Tri Appellation' Santa Barbara, Monterey, Sonoma County Pinot Noir

Deep red. Smooth. Dark cherry, currants, blackberry, cinnamon, love this . . . had with cheese fondue followed by dark chocolate fondue - paired very well with both. Will definitely look for this at my local wine shops. — a month ago

Colson Canyon Vineyard Syrah 2022

Delectable Wine
9.6

The 2022 Syrah Colson Canyon Vineyard is such a unique wine. Bright floral aromatics and lively acids make a strong opening statement. Pomegranate, blood orange, raspberry jam, slate, crushed rocks and clean mineral notes all drive through this heady, explosive Syrah. This is a magical wine from Joey Tensley. Herman Story

White Hawk Vineyard Syrah 2021

Well totally closed on opening. Put cork back in and let sit 3 days and it is way better. Huge wine but so freaking good. Blueberry pie, green peppercorns, blackberries, plums, tomato, fresh herbs, flowery perfume, mixed berry jam. It has so much texture. Just keep smelling and tasting new stuff. The prices have increased so not quite as much value, but if you’re into huge CA Rhône’s that have just enough balance, this is a fantastic wine. — 2 months ago
