Vallontano Vinhos Nobres

LH Zanini 2020

Marginally better than the prior vintages and most certainly the best Brazilian sparkling wine. Truly good stuff. — 3 months ago

N.V. Brut

Very light, balanced, fresh, elegant. There is no way you can get this quality at this price point for a roughly 50/50 Pinot Chardonnay, brut no vintage sparking. — 2 years ago

Fausto Safra Tannat 2017

His wine is very underrated. At least the 2017 harvest. I apologise to the other folks who scored this wine but this is a delicious wine. I opened the bottle and my wife knew immediately that this was a South American wine and guessed it was a garzon. Honestly, if not better this wine is as good as garzon tannat. Cioccolato, lots of red berries and leather notes. Coffee and a little vanilla on the palate. It is a pity this wine isn’t available in the USA and only 20.000 bottles of this vintage were produced. I will certainly buy it again in my next trip. — 5 years ago

Reserva Merlot 2014

I bought this wine in Brazil in November 2018. What an excellent surprise. Full body merlot. We loved the wine and the company of our lovely friends who shared the bottle with us. Cheers. — 6 years ago

Very impressive Merlot from Brazil! Full bodied, fruit forward, velvety tannins, and very approachable. Apparently, Vale dos Vinhedos is Brazil's oldest and traditional wine region which dates back to the 1870s with Italian immigrants. Although wine from the region is produced in small quantities, like the vineyards, the Venetian dialect still continues today with Brazilians of Italian decent.

A special wine shared with our favorite couple!

Muito obrigado Luciano e Kelly!!
