Prices finally coming down on these fad wines. $39.99usd. I like the screw cap for aging this one. It's big and bold and finally priced about right. 2014vinrage young and dark ripe fruit. Juicy and luscious. — 7 years ago

Low end from M. David. Made for mass appeal. Some residual sugar for the masses. Fruity and smooth once open for a bit. As designed. — 8 years ago

2009 in 2017. Ready to go wouldn't cellar this much longer. Better after an hour in a decant. Cherries. Mild oak. — 8 years ago

Simple. Not a lot of depth.
Feels a bit hot at 14.5% to hide lack of structure. Short finish. Bland once it leaves the palate.
At $25cdn retail it's a bit expensive. Wholesale is $14.65cdn. Buy at $18 not much more.
Not very jammy for a reserve Shiraz. Easy to drink once opened for an hour. Plunk. After 2.5hours fairly smooth. But still flat finish and no flavour. Have with some meat to benefit from the acid.

2013 in 2017. Very spicy. Peppery green pepper. Didn't find it very fruity. Need some time to air and open up. It was ok. — 8 years ago

Needs an hour to air. Do it. A bit sweet. Not to jammy. Interesting take on amarone by drying grapes. Oak is light after 12 months. Needs more time in the rack. — 8 years ago

Didn't like it in the trade floor. But brought one home and had with pasta. Nice and light. Doesn't need a big meat. Gentle tannins. Very smooth after a decant. It's a win. — 8 years ago

Taste like cheap home made wine. Cool climate hybrid grapes not the greatest. Nova Scotia should stick to making skretch. Fruit is covered with alcohol if that's what you like. — 8 years ago

For $10 they haven't totally destroyed it with sugar. Better then some of the other popular brands but not great. First bottle was open for an hour. Way better then second done with no decant. — 8 years ago
