A blend of 85% Albariño and 15% Treixadura, grapes from the Contado do Tea subzone and the Salnes subzone, aged on lees for 9 months, pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate pronounced flavors of melon and lemon with hints of toasty notes from lees aging. Long finish, vivid acidity, ending with fruit and smoky character. Will age well. An unusual old vines blend of 6 or more varieties farmed to biodynamic principles. Fermented with skin contact. A medium yellow color. Nose of flowers and spice. Intense palate ripe white fruit. Intense mineral backbone. Powerful wine but fresh with some poise. Paired with a rice bowl featuring Haloumi, bacon and Hawaiian avocado. — 2 years ago
Out of a Coravin magnum, taking time to wake up, everything is there although backed off a little, now the richness and acidic length start to come through. — 4 years ago

Blend of 60% Albariño, the other part made up of Treixadura, Loureiro & Caino.
Very light & fresh, salty & rocky on the nose. Hardly any fruit. Shy at this stage.
Nice, creamy & quite firm mouthfeel. Salty, fresh, juicy. Shy lemons, salty rocks, a hint of white peach & green pear. Nice presence, depth & length. Savoury & much better with food as this has some weight.
Very good. — 8 days ago
