Lovely Spanish Tinto del Toro with a purple colour and strong fruit and hint of oak on the nose. Lots of bramble, dark fruits and smidgeon of chocolate giving this a bold and smooth wine with a subtle sweetness.
I have seen comments on this being an unsophisticated or simple wine, and not being a expert that may be true, but I thoroughly enjoyed this paired with Chicken pesto pasta and a tomato and beetroot salad. — 12 days ago
Inky, dark color. Spicy leather nose. Full, supple, dark ripe plum. Spicy, dry finish. We'll buy every time we visit. Wow. — a day ago
DAY 1
Served with the Vinlog System
👃Pretty pinot cherry flavors + cloves
👅The fruit is more dark. Earthy + tar. Midpalate is slightly thin. Some tannins that need time for resolution
Remaining wine was Slow Decanted in my fridge
DAY 11
👅Tannins are less than Day 1 but still noticeable. Purple fruit, earth & tar. Finishes nicely with fruit and licorice
I enjoyed this both days. Elegant and pretty but needs time to express itself and soften the tannins a bit. But I like it now and I love it’s potential🍷

Pretty good. Deep Tempranillo fruit slathered with a fair amount of oak, but it integrated with air. Enjoyed with grilled burgers. — 10 days ago

Bright ruby red color. Lovely aromas of tar, leather, charcoal and ripe red fruit. The pallet is bright, featuring that same red fruit. A bit of a woody note on the clean finish. Silky and smooth tannins and lovely balance. Easy drinker. Shows how some bottle age can smooth out and tone down a wine. — 7 days ago
