The first of 4 bottles from my cellar. The nose has blackberry, violets and dried herbs. The palate has that trademark Margaret River herbaceousness but in this warmer vintage more cassis, fine persistent tannins which go on forever - almost silky. Just a beautiful rendition of Margaret River Cabernet with a very long life in front of it - say 20 years. Cape Mentelle one of the early vineyards and down in the south near the town. — 7 days ago
Translucent red berry; outer water tinge, Low alcohol at 13%, capsicum, paprika, cherry. Chocolate, capsicum, dark berry. Medium body and medium tannin. Lingering flavour. — 2 days ago

Nose has crushed mint, ripe cherries, ripe blackberries, moist cedar, old leather, cherry-infused tobacco and candle wax trailing away.
Palate has ripe blackberries, dried Bing cherries, slight cocoa powder, dried plum, faint spice cake with fading tannins.
2H decant at the time of notes, I think this wants more air to continue developing. A purchase from many, many years past when we were hot on all things Australia. Hidden away for ~20Y in our off-site storage, these bottles recently arrived at the home cellar. I'm not disappointed by the showing tonight, more intrigued about what the next few bottles will bring...
Paired with Allen Bros cover rib (rib cap) and smashed fingerling potatoes; a meal generally dreamed about, realized tonight. — 17 days ago
I shouldn’t be surprised at the wonderful quality…as always! — 4 days ago
Very good Sauvignon Blanc that mixes tropical features with yeasty funky stuff. As they say, entry-level 'natural' wine. So expect mango, passion fruit, bakery and pear cidre. Fresh and pretty focused. It's slightly dizzy and in addition to flavours of pear it only magnifies impression of pear cidre. Add some salty lemon notes and hear my conclusion - niiiiice. — a month ago
