Had to pop one... way too early. Wine is glorious gold in glass... still tightly wound and reticent. Opened up over the course of an hour to display plenty of rich, ripe dark red and black fruit. Powerful weight, noticeable structure, vivid acidity. Long persistent finish. Think I’ll hold my remaining six. But kudos to a very influential house for bringing forth something totally new. Holds it own alongside Grand Annee and RD.

Was a wine club member here for a few years and very much enjoyed the entire portfolio. Stunning winery up Conn Creek Rd just south east of Lake Hennessy. Wonderful people too.
I always found the mountain proprietary blend more accessible at a young age compared to their cab reserve. At 7ys young, and even for the big and structured vintage of 2013, this was very enjoyable close to pop and pour. Brilliant color of purple in the glass offering up aromatics of baked mixed berry pie, fresh potpourri, cedar, espresso, and baking spices like cinnamon and vanilla. While extracted and rich on the palate, it has plenty of tannin to keep things balanced. Red, blue and black fruits accompanied by sandalwood, grilled violets, decadent dark cocoa and dusty character toward the finish. — 2 months ago

Rd. 2 - Anniversary Greek wine... instead of going to Greece. 😂 Thanks, Heather! — 2 months ago
Just absolutely stunning. A Nebbiolo from Heathcote Australia; Willoughby Bridge Vineyard. Just an hour or so north of Melbourne. Ready to drink right out of the bottle. Opened up wide with blueberry, black berry at full ripeness. Oregano herbal notes. Nice depth and soothing, well integrated tannins. 👍 — 8 months ago
Savoury cherries and some cocoa notes on nose. Well balanced. I really like Great Southern Shiraz (WA). Preferable to Margaret River Shiraz in the West Australian sphere. Tasted again on 23 rd March 2018. Lovely earthy savoury cherry nose and palate. Supple tannins. Traveling well at 11 years. — 3 years ago
Cherry jolly rancher/twizzler on nose with delicious rd fruit/leather that has great length. Tannins rough on first taste (pop and taste)but smoothed out 2 hours after opening. Delicious. Few bottles left and has at least 5 years to peak. Do not drink another until at least 2022. — a day ago
Great value! Founder Andrew Murray’s Vineyards is a 200-acre site, about 1,500 feet above Foxen Canyon Rd, inland portion of the Santa Ynez Valley, making the vineyard the highest in the county. A blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvedre, "Tous les Jours" means “every day,” shows dark red with black fruit aromas and complex spice notes. On the palate, blueberry and black cherry with spicy cedar notes and some oak, Soft tannins, long finish. Very nice, did I say great value! — 5 months ago
