Cherry, red currant and almond on the nose. The palate shows a strong acid backbone, a shiny, tangy red fruit all along, a bit of width and some matter. A tannic wall with a grain comes up in mid palate, powering up a very long finish with that grain and red berries. It's not bad! Works better with food though — 3 years ago
