Had with Isabel during lunch at home. Strong with a spicy start, but not burning. Excellent. From San Antonio Chile! — 6 months ago
A great Petite Sirah - we visited their tasting room in downtown Paso - tons of fun! — 8 months ago
Oh María Luz you are a rockstar. I lovingly carried this bottle back from my first trip to Chile, having been bowled over by this fierce female winemaking pioneer who runs Casa Marin with her son. From the chilliest part of San Antonio Valley, a stone’s throw from the sea, Luz’s wine shimmer with acidity and vibrate with energy. At 12 years of age this Syrah is absolutely singing with gorgeous green olive salinity backed by blackberry bramble, dried herbs, white pepper and dried currants. Fantastic acidity and faint tannins make this an utterly effortless mouthful. I wish I had another bottle. Or five. — 3 years ago

Nice to have this wine again after 11 years. Visited the vineyard in Chile in 2011. A bit too international in profile; I prefer their regular Syrah. A little watery at the start, but then gets more intense and flavorful in the mid-range and after taste. Enjoyed with a burger at Wollensky’s Grill. — a year ago
