Unmistakably old world. All savoury on the nose - truffle, cedar, salami, and spices. Palate is medium bodied but robust. Perfect balance between red/dark fruit, and savoury notes. Quite tannic. Still young! Amazing p/q. — 4 years ago
This is an incredible Sauvignon Blanc. It comes from France and can easily compete with any S.B from New Zealand. If you are a S. B lover like I am, give it a try. You won’t regret it. — 9 months ago

Smooth, we’ll-balanced French Pinot Noir enjoyed with pasta bolognese at Bitter End, Wells, ME — a year ago
Bright red berry fruit aromas and flavors with earthy hints of tobacco and cocoa. Hint of baking spice on the nice finish. Medium bodied and quite rich. Nice. Thank You Ron B! — 5 years ago

Clay and juicy cassis. Black olive. Tannins taste like an old varnished bureau. This is the wine that made me love wine again — especially French wine — and motivated me to start systematically tasting and making notes. Then of course my liquor store stopped carrying it. I was delighted to find a bottle while traveling. Still a wonderful value and delicious, though age would improve it. 92 or … 93! — 5 months ago
