@Delectable Wine this is ARLYN ’Running with Scissors’ Pinot Noir 2017.
Dark red fruit & forest floor. Medium bodied. Touch of vanilla. — 17 days ago
Great tobacco flavor running through. Would be excellent with wild game. — 19 days ago
70 Clairette, 25 GB, 5 Bourb. Good exchange of weight/texture and a lively acidity that brings a certain fineness to the wine. This does not skimp on either, something I dont often find in blocked ML S.Rhône whites. Alluring notes of ripe white fruits and flowers, from peach and plum to balmy pears, theres a lovely thread of anise running through it. The stoniness backing it all up. Great evolution with air too. — 2 months ago
Lovely, well balanced blend that tastes mostly like a cab franc to me from Willamette. Plum and simple spice. Very enjoyable lightly chilled. — 3 months ago
Big bruising style of pinot. Dark cherry, plum, and earthy notes on the nose. Palate is med/full bodied with power and weight. A cab shiraz in pinot clothing. Very good though. — 17 days ago
Meat juice, cigar, menthol, spices and I'm not sensing any fruit in there. The palate shows a huge acid backbone which tends to make it a tiny bit unbalanced if you drink it for itself. It calls for food. There are some tangy red forest fruits all along the palate. A good width with some grip, some weight and matter too. Very harsh tannins kick in in the middle which dry everything up before a long finish with those same red forest berries and a tiny bit of salt. I'll let it breathe for another hour to see if it settles but it's an enraged mustang running in the desert right now. — 25 days ago
This bad boy was like a versatile NFL running back - weighty up front but surprisingly light and dynamic on its feet, and the moves for a lingering finish - the Elroy Carson type @Scott Petrus - oh yeah it’s 100% Grolleau from two Japanese wine makers in the Loire. — 4 months ago
Applewood, poached pear, maple syrup and pecans with black lime, ginger lemon-honey, orange bitters, rosemary, baked sweet potatoes oozing créme fraîche, brown sugar and caramel. It’s a noseful! Hot, herbaceous mouthful on the coat. Warm maduro-caramel turns noir in the slanted chiaroscuros of toffee and brittle, respectively. Big lemon citrus with orange zest, banana bread, sage, allspice, mace, cedar, pipe tobacco puff, black raisin, with a svelte acid streak running the length of a generous satin mouthfeel. Impossible value here. Complex notes from the mash make this sparkle with edgy notes of bottled lightning. #Michters #Michterssmallbatch #Michterssmallbatchsourmash #Michterssourmash #whiskey #Anericanwhiskey #KYwhiskey #ky #fermentedmash #upcycledmash #mash #louisvilleky #Michtersdistillery — 2 days ago
Martin muellen Krover letterlay spatlese ** trocken.
Nose is so peachy it doesn’t smell like a trocken. Huge peach. As it evolves more ages Riesling petrol notes.
Palate is big crunchy rocks. Sweet peach flesh and skin. Delicious.
Long finish like a peach infused running stream.

WHN virtual tasting. 07’ Valdicava, Brunello Montalcino. Medium garnet in color. Pull the cork three hours ahead of time. Decanted it for one hour. The nose is simply out of this world! Black licorice & dark berry aromas, with baked chocolate. On the palate, it is velvety, rich in blackberry, black cherry. You get tons of leather/tobacco running to the back of the palate. Juicy tannins, with a long finish. Drinking now. Cheers — 3 months ago
