A bountiful nose of tobacco, menthol, clove, coriander and camphor, with stewed fruits and rhubarb hiding underneath. Decanted over two hours. Dirty tartrate crystals populate the bottle in huge amounts. The body is medium to full with shockingly graceful and integrated pomegranates, rhubarb, citrus peel, rose petals, eucalyptus, tar, dusty tannins, and a hint of kirsch. Refined and subtle mouthfeel with some grit and chalkiness. Elegant. Light on its feet but with bewitching depth and sophistication. Still around medium, medium-plus bodied. Shards of sediment are forming throughout the wine. A "wow" wine nonetheless. — 7 years ago
Great acidity .... a beautiful wine at a great wine !!! — 5 years ago
Ethereal Ghemme that comes pretty close to rivaling Rovellotti and Antichi Vigneti di Cantalupo, who for me are the benchmarks. Vivid and fleshy red fruit, with black truffle poking its head out behind. Ever changing in the glass. I would happily forgo drinking this and simply smell it all night. — 7 years ago

Light floral aroma and first flavors with pomegranate, apple, and apricot. Next a tartness with cranberries that builds into the finish. Easy to drink. — 3 months ago
