Bright tart cherry. Spicy. Interesting Malbec Rockpool Sydney — 5 years ago
Initial leathery notes. Creme de cassis came through later with time in the decanter. 2001 vintage. Not overly herbaceous - very polished. An excellent, well made Cabernet which has the strength to carry on for years. More new world than old world unlike Dominus for example which could be Left Bank. Overly expensive at Rockpool. — 8 years ago

Very nice Pinot. Not usually a fan of Pinots as I like bolder reds, but this one was very nice paired with Snapper and Brussel Sprouts at Rockpool Grill and Bar in Sydney. Great nose and good flavor profile without overpowering the grilled fish. — 4 years ago

A gorgeous nose. All oyster shells, limestone, salinity, hints of lime, greengages, peter. Very poised, saline and cool-blooded. On the palate it is super sophisticated. Very precise floral notes. Rockpool, mellow citrus with super fine balancing acidity. This is deep and profound but pretty light on its feet. A beautiful calm vintage. — 4 years ago

That was our experience. Kind of phoning it in.A pretty light Syrah. Good with heavy foods, but drinkable with anything. Not highly tannic but still rich. — 8 years ago
Conrad Green

Dense and still quite packed. Rockpool, floral notes, green apple. Really classy but a bit tight at first. Over an hour in the glass this unfurls and it’s pretty stunning. Really precise stone fruit, a contained lushness with wet stone notes and minerality. Years ahead but this is great — 6 months ago
