Medium ruby hue. Aromas and flavors of black cherry, blackberry, bramble, dried fruit, and pepper. Medium-plus body, with medium tannins and medium acidity. Elegant and lighter in character than other California Zinfandels (or Zin blends). 70% Zinfandel, 15% Carignan, 12% Petite Sirah, and 3% Alicante Bouschet. — 4 days ago
Took a little while to open up but after all it is a PS. Still going strong after 17 years. Tannins and fruits still balanced. Impressive — 2 days ago

Color is still a deep ruby/garnet with a nose of plums, black tea, black pepper, and hints of dark chocolate. Amazingly smooth, this Petite Sirah has developed nicely over 13 years. Fruit is still there, but florals are popping out and the texture is wonderful. Full-bodied, bold, powerful wine given to me by a friend. Paired with prime NY strip and ribeye = perfection. — 10 days ago
