funky almost to a fault. at first sniff, i almost thought it might have been corked. however, it develops into something really quite special. the longer i sit with it, the more i want. — 18 days ago

This was a pleasant drop of cider. Thatcher’s are one of the big name producers in Britain who continue to make cider properly, and so I'm always happy to try their new offerings.
This is a medium sweet cider with the pleasant addition of blood orange that makes for a nice rounded drink. The apples, according to Thatcher’s, that go to make this cider are Braeburn, Fuji and Gala.
Overall, good for anytime but with or without ice it is suited to a warm summer afternoon. — 13 days ago
Nose has dried tangerine, dehydrated apricots, ripe cantaloupe, Himalayan pink salt and a fading vinegar note.
Palate has clementine orange, under-ripe nectarine, faint honey, light saline notes, rose hip tea with light acidity and medium finish.

Wonderful honey aromas on the nose, along with some nice whiffs of citrus. The palate, of course, was sweet, though not sugary. Honeyed flavors of orange, peach, and apricot dominate. Not the sort of wine you'd have everynight, though a marvelous apértif or even dessert on a special occasion. 100% Orange Muscat. 7/3/22. — 7 months ago
