Very pretty ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Medium-bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate and complex.
Showing red currants, cherries, earth, light oak, spices, tobacco leaf, dark coffee and black pepper.
Long finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.
This is a beautiful Pinot Noir from Burgundy. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Elegant and rich.
This 9 year old from the great 2015 vintage is still young, and needs many years in the bottle to mature properly, but already drinking beautifully.
Would be nice to revisit it in 10 years, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years.
Very enjoyable and really yummy. A great wine to have all by itself, but good with food too.
I paired it with a charcuterie board of meats and cheeses and had it by the pool.

Love these wines. 2016 is a beautiful rendition, rich, spicy, and mineral, layered with oak framed vibrant fruit, sweet spices, violets and game, with a seductive, velvety and expansive palate with fine grained tannins. Drinking beautifully now but with a long life ahead. More Vosne than NSG which is just the way I like it. Last sips were the best. — 2 months ago
