Pop and pour, but notes from 2 hrs open. This taste comes from the last sip in the btl...what a hit tonight. On the nose: ripe canteloupe, salt, soft savory herbs, amazing intensity...my wife offered to give me what was left in my glass, but said she'd take it if I didn't want it... Fantastic acidity, but melon, melon rind, perfect density. Better than the '12 or '13? Reminds me a touch of the '11, which was more savory. Yum. — 10 days ago
2018. Pale straw color. Light citrus aroma. Very crisp, tart and mineral with flavors of citrus and apple/pear. Moderately long finish. Hugely drinkable as a summer wine (or anytime)! — 2 months ago
Well balanced though more oak on the nose than I expected. Fruit still showed magnificently. Worth the mid-$20 price point. — 3 months ago
Surprisingly, one I just haven’t gotten around to trying.
It’s very light on its feet. Micro oxygenation, lime & lemon pulp, grapefruit, white peach, slivered almonds, nougat, vanillin, notes of cream, delicate chalkiness & volcanics, saline, sea fossils, touch of yeast, lively acidity, clean, elegant, polished finish. — 2 months ago
