Loved it! Unlike that last Chianti I tried which took an hour to open up (starting WAY too fruity and milding off), this was delicious right away. Started very earthy and drinkable immediately, the earthiness became less pronounced and became slightly more fruity as it opened. Excellent wine! — 18 days ago
2023 vintage. $120+ a bottle resto cost. I mean it’s nice but for that pricing and what I’d hafta charge for it? Hard pass. The new Antinori stuff (don’t ask about the whites) not working for me. Praying that their purchased property-Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars-has current offerings showing better for the pricing. Not holding my breath tho. 4.29.26. — 8 hours ago
Deep Ruby color with aromas of red/black fruits, floral and smoky oak. On the palate flavors of blackberry, cherry and plum flavors with garden herb notes, cacao, tobacco and toasty notes from 18 months of oak aging. Fine dusty tannins, long finish ending with fruit, vanilla and an earthy smoky spice character. Nice! Will age! — a month ago
This is the type of wine I really enjoy. Earthy, not too dry, not sweet. A little dry, but not to make you pucker, medium tannins, NOT fruit forward (thank god). It tastes like an Italian red wine. Served it with a bolognese-ish pasta. Worked well, very enjoyable. Sangiovese, merlot and petit verdot. — 11 days ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 3.25.26 (9.0). Liked this time even less. Not feeling this vintage. 4.29.26. — 43 minutes ago

Fantastic Brunello di Montalcino. Not my first rodeo with Frescobaldi, but this one was exceptional. — 20 days ago

2021 vintage. Decanted and tasted after 1 hour. Fantastic nose. Medium body with above-average concentration. Haven’t seen this particular Antinori offering before but the powers that be haven’t exactly been shy/subtle about getting their products in my dish. 4.17.26. — 12 days ago
