First chianti I have tried!
Initial taste: not a fan. Very fruity! Heavy notes of cherry and current, almost as strong as a fruit wine, but not as sweet and with a regular wine mouthfeel. Additionally, HEAVY port vibes. Really wasn’t a fan of how heavy the molasses of the port taste was. After initial taste I thought I wasn’t going to like this wine.
After decanting: very happy to say I was completely wrong to be worried about this wine. Turned out excellent. All of the above notes remained, but became MUCH more mild, and not only tolerable but enjoyable. Most of all the port taste is only faint now, which is what turned me off the most. I now taste an ever so faint grassy taste, in a good way.
This is probably the first ‘fruity’ wine I really enjoy. Glad I tried it, and will continue to explore more chiantis! — a month ago
Good, not amazing. Look forward to trying more burgundies. — a month ago
Third Chianti I have tried and third completely different experience. This one had a much heavier mouthfeel, and a lot less flavour than the other two I tried. It did improve and open up after an hour like the others, but I felt underwhelmed by the lack of boldness and very mild flavour. Almost like it was past its prime and had lost a bit. Heavy taste of black cherry and current, and even a hint of strawberry. Glad I tried it for the experience of it but won’t be buying this bottle again. — 3 days ago
Not a bad bottle, but seems very overpriced at the liquor store I got it at compared to how much I enjoyed it. I could see it being $30 bottle, not $60. Looked it up online it’s only 15 euros elsewhere. Fck BC import taxes. Needs at least an hour to open properly — a month ago
Love it! First Bordeaux or even old world wine I have tried. A lot more subtle and earthy than anything I have tried from the new world. — a month ago
My favourite BC wine <3 — 14 days ago
Loved it! Unlike that last Chianti I tried which took an hour to open up (starting WAY too fruity and milding off), this was delicious right away. Started very earthy and drinkable immediately, the earthiness became less pronounced and became slightly more fruity as it opened. Excellent wine! — 14 days ago
Underwhelming, especially compared to the other Bordeaux I just tried. Can get much better local wines at this price. — a month ago

Fucking delicious! First Spanish wine I have tried and very satisfied. Very easy drinking. Was good as soon as I opened the bottle and only got better as it opened up.
Very well rounded. A little earthy, a little round? Nothing stuck out too much, apart from just being a VERY easy drinking wine! Got it at an excellent price relative to the flavour also which justifies the rating. — 4 hours ago
