DAY 1
👃Perfumed orange florals, peppery lemon & minerals
👅More pretty & less intense than many PYCMs. Palate is medium bodied. Not totally dry
Remaing wine Slow Decanted in my refrigerator
DAY 14
Change in character vs Day 1. The subtle fruit has been shrouded by intense minerality
👅Flinty, smoky minerality with just enough lemon fruit. Nicely salty. Long bold and distinctly dry finish
Quite different on the 2 occasions. It was more delicate and very nice on Day 1 but I preferred the intensity & minerality that had developed by Day 14💕🥂

Light to medium gold color, heavy in the glass. Great perfumed nose. Notes of citrus, oak, kiwi fruit, some tan spice and a hint of spearmint. Fruit forward in the mouth. Nice texture. Drinking well for the hot vintage. Nicely pleasing and in a good spot. — a day ago
No formal notes, dining with friends in a very good Chinese Restaurant on the Gold Coast. It might be a Premier Cru but Beaune is not Vosne Romanee. Lots of ripe cherry on the nose and palate. Quite sweet on the palate. Possibly drunk a little young and lacking in complexity but I don’t believe this will reach any great heights. — 20 days ago
About 2 years from my last btl. Another spectacular showing. This has the density and poise of grand cru fruit. On the nose: pure sweet strawberry, cherry, balsam and spice. Clear stylish, well-judged, oak influence. Lovely acidiry and fantastically balanced density and weight. Long finish. This has plenty of upside still. Who says 2013s can't be exciting? — 4 days ago
Superbe encore une fois. À peine réduit, Fruits blancs, poires, un peu de citron aussi. Une bouche fort équilibrée avec une texture irrésistible, acidité bien présente pour balancer une certaine richesse mais sans exces. 92-93
Great once more, nicely balanced, white fruit, some lemon peel, auch great texture and mouthfeel, nice delicious finish. — 3 days ago
Light gold color, youthful appearance in the glass. Great CC nose with notes of citrus, ginger, reddish clay, wet stones and tan spice. Fruit still very present, matched against some fine-grained acidity. Awesome mouth feel. I know some of these can go south sooner rather than later, but this was right in the zone - youthful with plenty of energy. Great showing tonight. — 11 days ago
Birthday Weekend 😉
On the backside of peak enjoyment.
@Delectable Wine This isn't labeled as Domaine du Pavillon, thanks. — 6 days ago
Initial impressions of green apple, citrus, wet stone and mineral. Same on the palate. Still quite restrained from this excellent white burgundy vintage of 8 years ago. Quite lean for a Premier Cru Meursault and leaner than most good Australian Chardonnays The oak is clearly dialled back to match the power of the fruit in this cooler vintage. A touch of salinity at the finish. — 5 days ago
