Nice fresh fruit on the nose. Very bright fruit and rolls nicely off the tongue. What a treat. — 20 days ago
Annata Biondi-Santi. This is absolutely delicious. Always special from this producer. Love the color. Classic Sangiovese. Orange rimmed next to the pale red. Balanced between some grippy but delicate tannins and approachable fruit. The nose has some spice and some earth but they don’t bring a kick so much as depth. The bottom line is you can tell it’s great because the wine drinks so fast! — 17 days ago

Very flavorful and the plum adds a perfect balance. Great price and the perfect go to for any occasion — 11 days ago
It's hard not to appreciate something so pretty to stare through. And also how this doesn't fall right in line with the rest of the orange army lining the shelves these days. This has substance. 13.5% ABV of substance and depth. Interesting notes of incenses, body oils, and sandalwoods - blood orange and basil reduction and cedar plank too.
Like the smells from shelves at the local gift shop, reaching out to grab you walking by. — 11 days ago
From my gal (whose palate is much better than mine but thinks tracking wine is too much work): Chilled and perfect. Dusky, ruby plum colour. Smells like sweet Alberta wild rose, cranberries, sour cherry, pie spice and a damp evening. Tastes like tart cherry, bell peppers and cola bottle candies. The chilledness walks a fine line between bright acidity and subtle tannins at the end. — 6 days ago
Surprisingly tight - better once it warmed up to 60 degrees F.
May improve with bottle age? — 19 days ago
Such a nice acid line thru this — 12 days ago
I’m not a “natural wine” devotee necessarily, but I am a Martha devotee.
Out to The Meadow is almost always one of my favorites in her line up. Chenin driven, this wine shows the variety’s funkier side on the nose (honeysuckle, wet wool, hay, gray stones). On the palate, it balances sweet (honey, honeysuckle) and sour (incredible tart, barely ripe green apple, white nectarine); fruity, vegetal and just the right amount of bitter (at least for those of us with an bias towards Italian whites) with Vermentino’s unmistakable salty fennel/herbal/grapefruit pith on the finish. Have no idea what “green hungarian” and “chasselas doré” add to the blend, but I trust the master and her modern interpretation of what a century old California field blend would have looked and tasted like. — 16 days ago
