Le Vigne Di Alice

Grosjean Frères

Vigne Rovettaz Vallée d'Aoste Petite Arvine 2019

Surprisingly full for a mountain wine. Lovely palate of white fruit with zippy acidity and a mildly bitter finish. Really out plays the $. Seek out! — 3 days ago

Vigne Rovettaz Vallee d'Aoste Cornalin 2019

Definitely more ripeness than I’ve noticed in past vintages. Tbh I might have called this willamette valley blind. Still delicious — 16 days ago

Pierre Moncuit

Cuvée Nicole Moncuit Vieille Vigne Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut Champagne Chardonnay 1996

Brought from my cellar to a special edition of Tasting Group in celebration of one of the member’s turning 40. On this night, the theme was sparkling wines, served blind. Poured a deep, golden color; bubbles still going strong. On the nose, oxidative notes of almonds accompanied by bruised apple and a touch of Greek yogurt. On the palate, this is rich and opulent, again with the apples with lemon. Crazy acidity with a finish lasting for well over a minute; it seems to build the longer it sits! A mature Champagne with many years of life left. Gorgeous. — 2 days ago

Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino Sangiovese 2014

Antinori Pian delle Vigne Brunello di Montalcino DOCG 2014: Brilliant color. Powerful cherry. Beautiful tannins. Nice acidity. Juicy red fruits. Spice. Tobacco. Herbs. Earth. Elegant, long lasting finish. All in all, an outstanding Brunello, memorizing the drinker up until the last drop! Have a great week! Cheers🍷 — a month ago

Vietti

Tre Vigne Barbera d'Asti 2019

N: black cherry, licorice, wild herbs, rose petals
P: black cherry, red plum skin, more herbs, a little white pepper, tobacco, rose petal, and sun dried tomato. The darker side of barbers with lots of acidity. Dusty tannins, not heavy, just enough to give a little grip on the finish.

Beau Vigne

Juliet Cabernet Sauvignon

Nothing wrong with this wine…just struggling to see where the crazy high scores are coming from. It was a pnp so some time decanting could improve it. But just not as big as I was expecting. — 21 days ago

Domaine Alice Hartmann

Chardonnay 2019

A genuinely good Lux Chardonnay, amazingly - rich, buttery, just the right oakiness. Compares very well to a Burgundy. Skip the awful Pinot gris and so-so Riesling this country produces. At Brasserie Guillaume — 22 days ago
