I’m a fussy one with Pinot. It should not come from Western Australia IMO. Clones or climate, prob both. This from the Mornington Peninsula is everything I want. Lower alcohol, rose petals, violets, no confection, some spices. It went really well with a Chicken Biryani. I’ve always loved their Chardonnay and now I’m late to their Pinot Show but loving this immensely. 2019.
(And then I remember that Batista Estate Angelina Pinot is a doll. From WA) 🩷 — 22 days ago

From Laithwaites. Almost perfect, perhaps just a smidge too sweet but the quality pushes through so that doesn't matter too much. — 8 months ago

Delicious and smooth - very easy to drink on day 1 and 2 — 7 months ago
Back in the day I bought a dozen of these and don’t record everyone. See previous note 271 weeks ago. Emphasising again that the Mornington Peninsula is great for Pinot Noir. Mid to light Ruby in colour with pale slightly tawny edges. Rich red fruits on the palate with aromas of Sous Bois/compost heap. A very good Mornington Pinot with Medium plus intensity belying its pale colour. Will have the remaining 3 bottles over the next few years. — 8 months ago

See previous Delectable notes from 2021 and 2022. Always a class act from Tom Carson and in the top echelon of Pinots from Mornington Peninsula. A beautiful red fruited perfume with stewed fruits. A percentage of whole bunch in the ferment. Richness on the palate with depth. A well made wine from a good vintage. Lucky I have one left. — 7 days ago
