I bought this 2004 bottle in 2009 on my honey moon. I’m drinking it now in 2021 on my would be anniversary with my soon to be ex husband as we toast to our 3 beautiful daughters. We are enjoying and glad that we stored it correctly/ sufficiently.

Color is quite youthful. Nose has Graham cracker, tilled soil, dried cherry and cherry ooze. Big whack of (non-jammy) fruit initially, but quickly framed by soft tannins, and a nice but subtle minerally, savory component comes in. Very nicely balanced, with nice acids. Nicely concentrated too. Will go great with my pasta tonight. — 5 days ago
Very dark ruby coloration. Hint of brown. On the nose, plum, Dark cherry, currants and forest floor. On the palate, full bodied and rich in the mouth, cherry, currants and a strong and pervasive presence of anise that goes long into the finish. Tannins are present and strong but do not inhibit a medium long finish of anise. — 6 days ago
