Light yellow in color with a golden tint.
Strong nose of citrus, vanilla, oak, yellow apples, spices, toast and white pepper.
Medium to full-bodied with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with lemons, citrus, light grapefruits, earth, oak, vanilla, smoke, spices, light earth and black pepper.
Nice finish with spices and limes.
This is a very enjoyable Oaky Chardonnay from Napa Valley. Showing a nice smooth and buttery mouthfeel.
Although an oaky Chardonnay is not my style, I really enjoyed it, especially with food.
I paired it with a very fatty Brie cheese and caviar.
A good quality wine. Neither sweet nor bitter, just very enjoyable.
13.5% alcohol by volume.

Picked up a split of this because all my .375 empties got accidentally thrown out (I use them to store unfinished bottles in the fridge). So I was mostly after the bottle itself but what’s inside happens to be superb—lime, apple and floral notes with fine but not hard edged limestone mineral character, softened perhaps by the clay component of the terroir. I Sancerre-ly enjoyed it! — a month ago
Excellent! Very refined and subtle Sauvignon Blanc. Clear-yellow color. Green apple, tropical and grassy, but not as pronounced as one from New Zealand. — 10 days ago
So delicious. Bourbon, vanilla, oak on the nose. Complex and balanced with a fruit finish. Great with a NY strip/mushrooms. — 10 days ago
Very good but not my favorite of the single vineyards. Has notes of lavender or something else that’s interesting but not as appealing. — a month ago
