Cote with battery, insanely good — 2 months ago
Beautiful and historic. Old ownership. Wears the 14.5% alc. well. Dark cherry, cassis, eucalyptus, jalapeño, and perfectly integrated oak. Blind tasted next to ‘14 Chase-Spleen and was immediately recognized for its fruit and character. Plenty of life ahead but drinking very well with a long decant now. — 3 months ago
Medium concentration, ruby color. Red flowers, red and dark cherry, red berries, blackberry, cinnamon, nutmeg, sweet spices, tea leaves, faint tobacco. Silky fine tannins, medium acidity. Rather reflective of the raining 2016 vintage in the valley. 3 years in new French oak, 1.5 years in bottle. — 11 days ago
Drinking well but also craving more time in bottle. Didn’t stand up to its new world counterpart (‘14 Heitz Cabernet). Less aromatic but more tannic than the Heitz. Nearly equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot with a splash of Petite Verdot. Has some thinking to do. Good but not great. — 3 months ago
A bit linear. Cranberry!!! Strawberry, strawberry leaf, strawberry yogurt. Long finish, medium+/elevated acidity. Silky tannins that — 11 days ago
Light garnet, plummy undercurrent with raspberry and hints of strawberry, mild tannins in the backs of the cheeks. Very smooth with light, nuanced red fruit flavours and a somewhat briny or clay-ey finish. — a month ago
Fantastic Perrieres. Pale lemon color. Opulent nose of Meyer lemon, tropical notes, acacia, quince, saline mineral hints. Persistent acidity on the palate. Long finish. Good stuff. — 3 months ago

The inviting nose shows blackberry, cassis, raspberry, nutmeg, vanilla, eucalyptus, and subtle fresh herbs. Fresh high-toned acidity frames the well sculptured medium to full body. Great fruit intensity. Polished tannins leads to a long elegant finish.
Young and long life ahead. — 9 days ago
