It’s like walking through a elderflower, chamomile, honeysuckle forest with a granite stream of water underneath. There’s also lychee, pear, peach, some more flowers. There’s an underlying tropical/floral shrub character on finish. I could smell for days. Outstanding and lived up to hype. Best Gewürztraminer I’ve had. — 4 months ago
Haven’t had in a minute and wow this is stunning. Nose is super mineral with some notes of rock, rock and more rock. Have I said that this wine is mineral yet? Palate is an exercise in grace and finesse with such finely crushed rocks and almost no fruit, the way I like it. Iodine and saline notes on the nose. This is a remarkably elegant wine. Some apricot, peach develop and some juuuuuust ripe citrus. Has that killer 19 focus. With air this is getting more concentrated and the airy minerals are really compelling. A brilliant wine. This is 9.5 to 9.6 now. — 8 months ago
This ist my First Hermannsberg and I love it! Fresh, exciting, intense! Mineral cool nose, citrus and kiwi. Something Like grapefruit on the palate, maybe some blood orange. The acid is very vibrant and the Finish is just looong enough to tease for another sip. — 4 months ago
