The Devil You Don't Know Cabernet Sauvignon Syrah Mourvedre Petite Sirah 2018

Bold up front. Disappears on the back end. Heavier beef stock type flavor to it. Not too fruity. We enjoyed this one and it was easy to drink. -2018 vintage — 2 months ago

Delicious. Mom liked it a lot. — a year ago

Shafer Vineyards

Relentless Napa Valley Syrah Petite Sirah 2011

Decanted for 30 minutes. Drinking wonderfully right now but still no rush! Lush dark fruit, eucalyptus, a bit of bacon fat, and smoke charcoal. Drank side by side with Gorman Winery's The Evil Genius 75% syrah 25% cab blend. The Relentless wins this H2H even when factoring price. — 2 years ago

The Devil Wears Pink Boushey Vineyard Rosé Blend 2019

Light pink, herbal, melon and white pepper aromas, also a slight sulfite-cabbage aroma that I did not find objectionable. Watermelon and cherry flavors. Dry but fruity, good acid, cherry and watermelon on finish with some skin astringency. — 10 months ago

42-39-56 Columbia Valley Rosé Blend 2017

Wasn’t as impressed with this as my first few tastings, but solid, aolid rosé with some nice body. — 3 years ago

Big Sissy Columbia Valley Chardonnay 2015

Darker gold than you might expect from a Chardonnay, medium+ viscosity. Nose is interesting, seeing oak, white flowers, and some darker inorganic notes...earthy mushrooms, maybe? Palette is hot, with more oak, pear, apples, good dose of acid. — 4 years ago

Conner Lee Vineyard The Big Sissy Chardonnay 2019

This Columbia Valley bottling catches your eye with the seamless texture and great sense of freshness. Meyer lemon and pineapple upside down cake mingle with minerals, smoke, and shades of butterscotch on the palate. This is just sinfully good stuff even at the two year mark, as the 2019 ‘Big Sissy’ Chardonnay has some great cellaring potential. Drink 2021-2029- 93 — 4 months ago

Château Monbousquet

Saint-Emilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2015

Ripe red cherry, sanguine characters, fruit cake [giveaway: St Emilion] allspice, tobacco. High tannins (the grip indicates a vintage with heat spikes) — tasted at the blind tasting session by Mary Gorman-McAdams — 2 years ago

Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

Loved the Marshall 1/2 Stack mini fridge in the background almost as much as the Cab. — 4 years ago
