Medium bodied. Poured a dusty rose. Nose of raspberry tart. Dill and black tea. A little thin for my taste. Served from magnum. This one still has a little bit of tannic grip. Stiff young oak influence. It was ok, but was not a stunner compared to the other wines on the table. This one will undoubtedly improve over the next 10 years and probably still has 20 years in magnum. I definitely look for this one to start condensing down soon? — 5 years ago

Easy going and adorable. Kind of one-dimensional though… — 10 months ago
Good everyday red. Nice acidity. Not as full as you’d expert from 14%, which I appreciated. — 3 years ago
Thinking a 1991 Barbara d'Alba would be totally gone by Feb 2017. Thiis was still fruity and drinking nicely. Pleasant. — 7 years ago
Fresh saltiness and floral notes on the nose.
Deep savory richness develops on the palate into a round but captivating flavor profile of rye, walnut. Maybe dried cranberry or other dried fruit.
I can't describe this. I need another pass with it. — 2 months ago
Love this wine! Lots of cherry on the nose, hints of wood (hickory?). Smoky, dark fruits, somewhat acidic but finishes with some dryness. So delicious! — 6 years ago

Dark cherries, forest floor, and eucalyptus on the nose. The wine is medium-full bodied, with notes of tart cherry, earth, and low tannins . — a month ago
