Let it breath for up to 2 hours. It matures and mellows out and becomes quite balanced and good. — 6 months ago

Matured for 42 months in 300- and 400-liter oak vessels, the 2020 Savagnin Côtes du Jura Vigne Aux Dames is alluring. Precisely sculpted lemon peel, yellow apple, chamomile and a dash of dried blossom are front and center. Vibrant and tensile on the medium-bodied palate, the 2020 is alive and kicking. Closing with persistence on the sapid finish, it deserves a round of applause. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, August 2024)

Absolutely phenomenal. Notes of vanilla, butterscotch, and honeysuckle without a single note of traditional oaky butteriness. — 5 months ago
The 2005 Duhart-Milon is a bit of a beast. Displays quite a dense, unforgiving pencil lead and tobacco-scented nose, and the fruit seems to take a back seat at the moment. The palate is well-balanced but undeniably brawny and rough-hewn, the kind of Pauillac you wouldn't want to meet down a dark alley at midnight. This is a bit hard going at the moment. This was an ex-château bottle served at Maison François in London. (Neal Martin, Vinous, January 2023) — 2 years ago
The 2020 Meursault Genevrières 1er Cru has a subtle reduction on the nose that enhances the aromatics. It is well-defined, with more yellow fruit in situ, crushed stone and rosemary oil. The oak is very well integrated. The palate is energetic and tensile from the start, with the reduction just right. It is not a deep Genevrières, yet taut and linear, almost Puligny-like towards the sustained finish. Excellent, though it needs bottle age to work through the reduction. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. (Neal Martin, Vinous, July 2024)

This was still fermenting a little in the bottle. Actually pushed the cork out of a couple of bottles on the shelf.m Meant I couldn’t sell them so staff had to drink them. Delicious! — 10 months ago

The complex 2020 Savagnin Côtes du Jura Cuvée du Professeur unwinds with prominent notes of saffron, dried chamomile, ripe pear, yellow apple and a touch of jasmine. Powerful and concentrated, the 2020 is a transparent reflection of the warm vintage, but the steely acidity cuts through like a scalpel, flawlessly preserving freshness. Focused, persistent and saline on the finish, the 2020 is simply awesome. (Nicolas Greinacher, Vinous, August 2024)
