Lemon and flinty aromas and flavors, great acidity, great complexity and depth, even at 35 years old, as I always say, Raveneau is singular, super long, lingering finish, great Chablis 1er Cru!!!
I am down to my last 18 bottles of 1988-1990 Raveneau, but these are incredible wines bought on release at criminally inexpensive prices (compared to today), but Francois made INCREDIBLE Chablis!!! — 8 days ago

So fresh under Diam. Most guessed that it was no more than 3 years old in our blind. Not the best Rav in my opinion. Obviously rich and ripe due to the vintage. I felt it could have used more relief. Thankfully it went remarkably well with some Comte. — 14 days ago

Again I had this at a friends tasting last Sunday afternoon. No notes taken but I recall more honeyed and mature than Chablis oyster shell characteristics. I should add that Penfolds 1990 707 in the image to the right was exceptional. Drinking at its peak from a good vintage with still some years to go. 97 points for the 707. — 5 days ago
