Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon 2019

Got for $16. Great for the cost. Similar to Josh with a little bolder flavor. — 9 months ago

UnderCurrants 2018

Another fantastic sour from Firestone Walker, the UnderCurrants is terrific. Nose is loaded with aromas of dried berries, black currants (shocking), and a subtle funk that really brings it all together. Great tartness on the palate, but with a delicacy that’s really impressive. Great stuff! — 5 years ago

Wookey Jack Black Rye IPA

Good. Hard to get this type of beer made well. This is not woodsy or muddled in grain. Good, rich, balanced. — 10 months ago

Santa Ynez Valley Malbec 2014

Firestone is the oldest vineyard in Santa Barbara and thanks to Rosie, we had a really fun tasting experience here. We picked up this bottle because of the lush dark fruit rolled-in-baking-spice flavor, and the aftertaste that was pure American Spirit tobacco. — 6 years ago

Krieky Bones

Dry, tart, and cupric. Subtle tart cherry skins emerging as it warms. Close analogue to Cuvee Des Jacobin Rouge. This barely registers as a kriek to me, but it is very good. Really nice delicate and persistent head on this beer. — 6 years ago
