So often barrel aged beers are overwhelming and not good. This is not that! It’s a very smooth beer with tart cherry and very subtle sour tastes. Great beer!!

Dec 25th, 2017Dry, tart, and cupric. Subtle tart cherry skins emerging as it warms. Close analogue to Cuvee Des Jacobin Rouge. This barely registers as a kriek to me, but it is very good. Really nice delicate and persistent head on this beer.
