L'Alpage Fendant 2019

N:Grassy white flowers, limes, what we imagine hay to be when fresh. Crushed white rock/chalk.
P: Slight frizzante, Granny Smith apples,
Limes, slight tropical fruit like star fruit,
Great mouthfeel, ever so slightly prickly.
Very dry and refreshing. On a hot day, it’ll be gone in a flash. 12.4%

Very, very 🍓 today, our last bottle of the 2017. Delicious.

An early Father's Day with my parents, so we don't have to compete with my Sister & Nephew's in 24 hours, plus we'll have the better wine. 🤞

Fidès Savennières Chenin Blanc 2014

Mouthfilling with its richness and chewy texture. Complex layers on the nose and palate make for a contemplative drink, always changing and expressing a new aspect. Acidity is long, powerful, and holds the wine together. Ripe orchard fruit, a touch tropical, lemon peel, white lilly, wet stones/concrete, nougat, spring honey, tea leaf, wool and beeswax. Has all the makings of a great Chenin in 10 years — 24 days ago

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo 2019

Delectable Wine

The 2019 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo displays sweet white flowers, melon, chamomile and almond paste. It’s soft in texture, with mineral-tinged orchard fruits and pretty inner florals. This leaves a sense of umami as it tapers off to notes of dried nectarine. Very nice and an excellent value as well. $15.00 (Eric Guido, Vinous, July 2021) — 5 hours ago
