Lots of acid for a Dolcetto. Quite light, a little thin. Raspberry, fig, black pepper, touch of baking spice, mushroom. From Moore Brothers, 11/25/22. — 4 months ago
Popped and poured, enjoyed over three days. Consistent notes throughout but gained weight and depth each day. The 2007 Elio Grasso pours a deep garnet color with a translucent core and a slightly watery rim. Very small signs of sediment. Medium+ viscosity. Very light staining of the tears. On the nose redolent of dark funky cherry fruit, tar red roses dried earth. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with medium++ tannin and medium+ acid. It’s boasting dry, powerful notes of cherry fruit and almost has a purple sweet tart thing on the finish…which is very long and savory. This is a gorgeous example of Barolo from the 2007 vintage and has many, many years to go. Grazie Tim! — 13 days ago

From Bill collection. Had with Xmas home made pizzas. Yum! — 3 months ago
Love it. What I would want from a young langhe Nebbiolo. Bright, balanced, light bodied, but w some interesting complexity to the fruit. Paid $34. Definitely buy again. — 7 days ago
Medium intensity garnet ruby core with wide quite garnet rim. Takes a bit of air to get going . Quite round and ripe on the nose spiced red cherry , orange rind , anis , black tea , hint of rose. On the palate more or the ripe red fruits , cherry and raspberry. Quite sweet fruit but with enough acidity to balance , gritty tannin, alcohol sticks out a bit . Good length with more mineral , saline and slightly herbal touches . This is in a good place with time in the glass, needs a bit of time to get going, in fact the following day shows better still . Will probably improve over the next few years and last a further 10 or so — 3 months ago

Stupidly good for a entry level LN, and affordable. Light on its feet, with sour cherries, tar, rosehip and high tannins. — a month ago
