Very good super good. Very cheap. No longer at Trader Joe’s — 3 years ago
Strawberry, cranberry and lemon zest fruit notes with a pretty floral overlay. Has dynamite red fruit and blood orange flavors accented with creamy, spice tones. The mineral element builds on the finish with cranberry and orange peel flavors. Blend of 2014/15 — 22 days ago
Nose is dynamite. Meyer lemon. Discreet oak. Floral, wet stones, wet earth, peaches? Superb delineation on the nose between, earth, mineral, flowers and fruit. As it opens more lime pith, more slate? Almost Mosel like. Wow, acid, concentration off the charts. Really young, but so clean, so pure and so long. Also initially closed. What density and what amazing material. Really nice texture and again, this is so mineral driven it’s crazy. Such a wealth of material here.
As it airs some spice develops. This seems really backwards and needs time but also is so so fine. Could be Chassagne. Explosive mineral finish and so earthy. This is as old school as St. Aubin gets. Saline, rocky and earthy. But finish is clipped as a function of its youth but man is this promising. — 2 months ago
This was dynamite….everything you want in russian river..fruit is so pure, slight creaminess and I love the lemon curd, acid in check…pretty voluptuous…. — 10 hours ago
Dynamite wine. Smells like VR. Violets, black cherries, wet moss, lipstick like intensify with the most clear fruit one can imagine. Baden 18 Pinot is siiiick. Gorgeous minerals. Just such a complete nose. Palate is super fresh and so complex. Very pure and very clean. Awesome freshness, acidity and structure. Long finish. Explosive. Super long. Man did Jürgen nail 2018. Balanced and so so pure. Insane complexity on the finish. — a month ago
Beautiful nose. Just so lifted and floral. Raspberry, black cherry, blueberry, pastille effect, herbal, an apothecary vibe in a medieval video game. Palate is lush and very 18. Soft and structured with black cherry and late season red cherries. Not showing much finesse yet but has great balance. Dynamite juiciness. Really engaging and fresh but still a little 18 itis. Ripe and juicy tannins with nice floral fruit notes. Let’s see where this goes.
This stayed the same and lost some focus. 18 Foillards mostly miss the mark — 2 months ago
astringent herbal berry bush sea breeze yeast dynamite powder. tongue dyed and teeth dipped. plusses for slight chill and mezze plate - it’s a natural. pop pour and drink up.....second day sees bare branches and deflated balloons, this one is built for immediate pleasure, but it sure gives. — 12 days ago

Touch of tobacco showing through the dark fruit already. Tannins already integrating. This will be dynamite in the cellar. — 2 months ago
Been over a year since I’ve had this and really dug it last time. Glorious cooling spices. Lovely mineral and earthen scents. Oolong tea. Tree bark. Perfectly ripe cherries. Just gorgeous. So complex and layered. So delicate and pure. 9.5 nose. Palate is dynamite. Full of energy, power, concentration and depth. Very Red Riesling. So sappy. Ripe, sweet and velvety tannins. Superb structure and sap. Just brilliant. — 2 months ago
