Dark glass-clinging reddish purple. Abundantly inviting nose of blueberry-blackberry compote. Full-bodied palate echoes the nose adding sweet ash and burnt marzipan. Medium tannins. Medium acidity. The fruit profile is quite similar to the neighboring Fiano de Avellino with lime, green apple, pear. A bit more herbal on the nose. Medium to full body with refreshing acidity and round texture. Hint of toasted nuts bitterness on the finish.
