Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2015

Lush sweet fruit, good acidity. Well balanced. The candied notes mostly faded over a half hour. — 5 months ago

Gevrey-Chambertin Cuvée Vieilles Vignes-Morgeaux Pinot Noir 2014

Ample aroma overflowing from my glass. Deep strawberry and forest flavor. Comfortable tanning. Balanced acidity. Firstly feel rich, but later on getting decreasing, well balanced. But aroma is getting concentrated instead. 1 hour is peak This feature should be enjoyed in large size of Bourgogne glass. @2600, KPing - XH, 200219-200619 — 7 months ago

Morey St. Denis Pinot Noir 2016

I decided to revisit a bottle that was the winner of our horizontal tasting of MSD 2016 village (10 producers tasted blind by 10 participants). And once again this is a hit for a village. Lots of complexity, licorice, spices and red fruits... more than satisfactory length for this level of appellation. — 5 months ago

En Montchenevoy Marsannay Pinot Noir 2002

Really nice mature Marsannay with good color and nose of flowers and perfume underlined by earthy structure and autumn forest. A surprising sense of sweetness reflecting very ripe fruits mixed in with all that older Burg goodness on palate. Long finish. What a nice wine! — 10 months ago

Les Echezots Marsannay Pinot Noir 2014

A fantastic showing. These Charlopin wines are always daring with the amount of brett they present, and this was no different, but it goes so well with the other flavors. On the nose: soft funky reduction, roses, blackberry, asian spice, plum, then just wafts spice and plum. On the palate, fantastic acidity, plum, nectarine, spice, lovely texture and density, soft, finely grained tannin on the juicy finish. Yum! — a month ago

Les Pins Pernand-Vergelesses Chardonnay 2014

I loved this so much. Layered and rich, with biting acidity. Paired well with mild but creamy vegetable curry and rice. — 6 months ago
