Man I totally forgot to get a pic of this one and the Shibumi! Actually I'm not sure that I even got to taste the Shibumi! This RRV chard was quite good. Lots of crisp notes to this wine. Just a hint of buttery character. Very enjoyable.

Another 4th Friday for the books! What a variety this month!

This was up there for WOTN. Tannins integrates beautifully. Silkiness stands out on the palate. Cinnamon and nutmeg on the nose. Big and bold mountain fruit easily noted here with ripe blackberries and cherries. Maybe a small note of blueberries. Plums and cocoa. Killer.

This and the Cimarossa were not showing their age. Just a robust fruit driven wine with gravelly undertones and a somewhat spicy and tannic finish. So impressed that I signed up for the mailing list before I finished my pour and definitely think it was one of the best of the evening!
