Grand Cru Kessler Gewurztraminer 2009

Lychee, candied peach, white flowers, lemon zest, and ginger. Heavy mouthfeel could come across as almost syrupy if not served at proper temperature (cold.) Very traditional, good wine. — 5 years ago

Superb salinity, meticulous mineral-lined mouthfeel, subtle florals favoring honeysuckle. My wife and I disagreed on fruit vs mineral dominance with my better-half favoring the former. Excellent with pork carnitas. — 4 years ago

Tasting beautiful at this age. Lots of petrol on the nose and then lime. Citrus candies on the palate followed by river rocks. Delicious contrast to salty oysters! — 5 years ago
