Grand Cru Kessler Gewurztraminer 2009

Lychee, candied peach, white flowers, lemon zest, and ginger. Heavy mouthfeel could come across as almost syrupy if not served at proper temperature (cold.) Very traditional, good wine. — 5 years ago

Earth driven and mineral. Less ripe than other Alsace PG on blinds. Stone fruit and pineapple.

Alsace Reserve Pinot Gris 2015

Superb salinity, meticulous mineral-lined mouthfeel, subtle florals favoring honeysuckle. My wife and I disagreed on fruit vs mineral dominance with my better-half favoring the former. Excellent with pork carnitas. — 4 years ago

Grand Cru Spiegel Alsace Riesling 2005

Tasting beautiful at this age. Lots of petrol on the nose and then lime. Citrus candies on the palate followed by river rocks. Delicious contrast to salty oysters! — 5 years ago

Réserve Alsace Pinot Blanc 2014

For less than 20 bucks this is steal. Nice grapefruit and honeysuckle off the top... wet stays in your mouth, then finishes off dry. — 4 years ago

Lieu-dit Belzbrunnen Riesling 2012

At $23 this biodynamic wine is a wow! “The residual sugar integrates seamlessly with the high acid allowing for the wine to finish smooth without any puckering and that fleeting touch of sweetness opens up a world of food pairing possibilities.” - Ian Cauble, SommSelect. — 4 years ago
