Cresta Colorada — 5 years ago
This is new vintage from Cresto di’Oro (Three Arrows) ranch/vineyard in the sub-AVA Green Valley of Russian River, Sonoma County. I am so impressed with this Pinot Noir rose. The color is like rose gold/copper which is so pretty. The aroma of fresh lime and lemon, white flowers, juicy strawberry and raspberry popped out right away after a swirl. The palate was so rounded with white peach, grapefruit, and melon finishing up with such a nice crisp taste, no tart or bitter taste at all that I found in most of dry roses. It’s a lovely rose that I didn’t expect to like 👍 — 7 years ago
Low carbonation, little sweetness, very drinkable. — 9 years ago
Cresta Ridge single vineyard. This is a truly amazing wine. The word that kept coming to mind with every delicious sip was "pure". The purity of fruit was stunning, the mouthfeel silky but racy, and the finish a lasting impression. — 9 years ago
John G is on fire. A wine to purchase for sure.

— a year ago
Great! A plum and leather with smoke (from smokehouse). But, I think, the acidity is the key. Like a final touch. — 5 years ago
Sourced from Pinot Noir vines, the Cresta d’ Oro Vineyard is located in the Green Valley of Sonoma County. On the nose this takes on delicate red cherry, guava puree and orange rind aromas that build in the glass. The palate shows really good freshness with intense red fruit and blood orange flavors, with wild mushroom undertones. The texture to this wine is truly outstanding — as is the long, lingering finish. With good minerality, this seriously good Rose is best enjoyed in the short-term. Drink 2019-2024- 92 — 7 years ago

Cresta Ridge chard. Maybe a little too toasty and buttery but still enjoyable. — 9 years ago
This is actually Cresta Ridge vineyard chard. Lemon meringue, honeydew, and Asian pear fruit. Butterscotch, marshmallow and toasty vanilla accents. — 9 years ago
