Corks gives away who made this Garagiste private label. A nice blue collar dinner wine. Nose has loads of crunchy dark cherry, crushed limestoney soil, and a forest floor note. A blast of dry cherry/berry fruit opens on the palate, but it quickly gives way to some stony mineral notes. Nice zingy acids too. The tannins are resolved, but the zestiness says this will last a couple more years. — a month ago
Bedrock’s first effort at making a vineyard specific Carignan from their Evangelho site was a big success in my book. Milky purple in the glass, it opens musty and dusty for a young wine with a great balance of richness and acidity. A touch of minerality too. A great food wine — felt a bit like a Barbera to me overall. Sadly this isn’t planned as an every year wine from Bedrock, just when the barrel samples warrant it and aren’t headed for the field blends Bedrock is known for — 15 days ago
Very nice at this price!!! Garnet in color, nice aroma, dark red berries with lots of spice notes. Tannins are light. — 19 days ago
Big fan of this red! Has subtle notes of cherry and tart, it’s like a symphony on the tongue, like fireworks on Fourth of July, it reminds me of a freshly mowed lawn in the beginning of spring. Great for parties or an evening alone! The subtle notes of tang go a long way — 18 days ago
Having it with porter house steak dinner on 6/10/22 — 19 days ago
It’s interesting. — 11 days ago

Bought at a good wine retailer in Barcelona. Made from 100% Carignan grapes from 80 year old vines and vinified in concrete tanks - zero oak influence. I made no notes but I do remember enjoying it as a great food wine and highly savoury. Drank this last week in Spain. — 24 days ago
