Nose has caramel dipped yellow apple, lemon peel, lemon zest, peach slice, warming butter and classroom chalk dust.
Palate has sugar dusted lemon slice, slightly oxidized yellow apple peel, fresh-fresh lemon zest, light salinity, sauteed peach and old white flowers.
Great acidity, likely opened this much too soon, expect this bottle to be a ⭐ in another 6-9Y (2027-30), albeit delicious tonight.
Decanted 4H+, more time appreciated.

Darker gold with an old white wine nose. Notes of warm citrus, creme brulee, some butterscotch. Later these notes mellow as the wine got more air and opened up a bit. Silky in the mouth. A bit past its prime for sure, but still has some sneaky acidity and enjoyment to offer. — a month ago
Really love this. Just the right balance between fruit and mineral flavors. Tart, but not overwhelmingly so, slight rose on the finish, maybe? — 18 days ago
Pop and pour, notes from 45 min open. Lovely, and my best bottle..also my last '12. On the nose: lemon, soft ginger, a touch of honey, some sour apple. On the palate: excellent acidity and density, mirroring the nose. Paired with baked whole branzino, stuffed with onions and herbs...yum. — 10 days ago
